Andvari
A dwarf-king of the old age, robbed once by clever gods and forced to part with his hoard beneath the Andvarafors waterfall. He keeps a stash still, and resents every traveller who finds him. Visit politely. Leave the ring.
What they do
Andvari grudgingly offers three chests on each visit — one gold, one charm, one consumable. The reward inside is hidden; pick one and you may swap to another, but only once. Rarely the gold chest spills platinum instead, and rarer still, Andvari parts with a relic from the depths of his hoard.
