The Rune-Idol
An ancient standing-stone, older than the realm's first kings, its carved runes still warm with the old magic. The folk who raised it are long dust, but the stone remembers the price of a blessing.
What they do
The idol's shrine offers three bargains on each visit: blood for a charm, gold for healing, or a free prayer the runes answer for good or ill. Choose one, or leave the stone to its silence.
