Asgard is the final Norse realm: a fixed series of Echo battles, two shops and Odin. This guide contains encounter spoilers. Normal and Hard share the full story ending.

Unlocking Asgard

Clear Svartalfheim and defeat all five Echoes at least once. Previous victories count across runs and difficulties, so you do not need to complete all five in one journey.

Asgard’s locked entry, Echo count and tappable checklist appear on the chooser only after your Svartalfheim clear. The checklist names the remaining Echoes and their home realms.

The route

  1. Echo Skadi
  2. Echo Sinmara
  3. Echo Freyr
  4. Shop
  5. Echo Rán
  6. Echo Thor
  7. Shop
  8. Odin

Every Echo is required, including your chosen hero’s Echo. There are no branching paths or random encounters. The map uses the same node icons as other realms.

Make recovery count

Health and equipment carry between fights; there is no automatic full heal. Save gold for the two shops. Normal provides extra kill gold and discounted shop prices. Hard removes those benefits, uses tougher enemy stats and offers no retries.

These Echoes are rematches: they do not repeat hero-unlock prompts or drop signature relics. Ordinary gold, charms and consumables remain available.

Odin and Gungnir

On Normal, Odin has 12,500 HP, deals 2 base damage per basic hit and has a 3-second swing timer. His animations and spear sequence interrupt that timer, so this is not a promise of one hit every three seconds throughout the fight.

Every landed basic hit applies random effects: ignite, Waterlogged, freeze, petrify, curse or a lightning zap that destroys its target runes. The effects prefer the side columns, avoiding the middle when enough eligible targets exist.

Odin’s remaining HP Different effects per hit Runes per effect Healing runes for safe dislodge
Above 75% 1 2 1
75% or less 2 2 1–2
50% or less 2 3 2
25% or less 3 3 3

Sparse boards and existing status protections can reduce the affected targets.

The spear divides the board

Gungnir flies past the hero, then strikes the middle column from above, destroying its runes. The lodged spear blocks swaps through that column and prevents raising or refilling.

Shockwaves push the other columns upward independently. Each initially gains 2–5 runes, with extra pushes toward 16 runes per side on sparse boards. Runes pushed through the roof shatter. Matches can then reduce that total.

The grid dims and briefly blocks input during the throw, impact and shockwaves. Controls return as the shockwaves finish: you can play during the resulting cascades and while three motes choose protection runes.

Break the protection runes

Destroy the three glowing protection runes to free the spear. Their glow matches their element and follows the rune as it moves. Matches and abilities that destroy runes both count, including during mote travel. Some targets take several moves to reach; they are not guaranteed to be one swap from a match.

Each destroyed target weakens the spear’s wisps. The timer spiral stays bright. The last target starts recall immediately, without waiting for the board to settle. If setup leaves fewer eligible targets, only the marked survivors are required.

A safe dislodge drops healing runes into the middle column, based on Odin’s HP when the spear leaves. Clear them as normal. At 25% HP or below, the three healing runes can form an automatic match when they land.

Judgement of Ruin

The 12-second cast begins after the protection motes finish, giving you the full cast duration to clear the targets. Watch Odin’s cast bar and the spiral growing from the spear’s base toward its tip.

If the cast completes, the spear bursts, the remaining board shatters and you take 20 base damage before recall. Difficulty modifies that damage. Running out of immediate matches does not shorten the cast. A detonation gives no healing-rune reward.

Rewards and progression

Asgard has Normal-clear, Hard-clear and bestiary achievements, including the Asgard Regalia cosmetic rune skin for the first clear. Unfinished all-realm goals include Asgard; rewards you already earned stay yours.

Asgard is excluded from random daily and weekly realm selection and the Endless Gauntlet. See Achievements for its rewards.

Ending and replay

The full ending follows Odin on both Normal and Hard, before the realm-complete screen. Hard is not required to see the conclusion. Skip ending skips the full sequence, and discovered scenes remain available in Codex → Story.

Victory rewards survive an interrupted ending without requiring another fight or paying twice. See Story & replays for recovery, skipping and accessibility settings without plot spoilers.
